Hi there! Hello, I am Anxara! your passionate and joyful illustrator.

I come from the beautiful island of Madagascar, a developing country without art colleges or strong platforms for illustrators. This meant I had to be a self-taught artist, building my skills independently by learning from artists I admire and completing numerous online courses, especially on Domestika. I am also a SCWBI member! Determined not to let this be a barrier, I proudly carry my heritage and represent my country through my art.

Married and a proud mother of two adorable children of 3 and 5,
they are my source of inspiration and the heart of my work.

Being passionate about drawing was one thing, then I became a mother and started collecting children's books - with joy - since those books fascinate me as much as they fascinate my children! I discovered a whole new world.

My - now - greatest dream? To contribute to the magical world of children's books—books that brighten their daily lives with lightness while also touching and guiding them with messages that carry values. I firmly believe that art can enchant, educate, and leave a positive mark.

Now sparked a profound desire in me to convey those emotions, stories, and messages through my illustrations
